(14 posts)Only if you consider that what we called "center" has been systematically dragged to the right. By today's standard of "center", Eisenhower and Nixon would have been progressives. Obama is NOT strong & he is NOT a risk taker which is why he allies himself with the status quo. He'll have safe, so-so presidency, with little to call "real accomplishments", but in the end he'll have his place in history just as GWB -not much else to crow about.
....Sorry, but forget it! There isn't going to be any "change". Real "change" requires risk.
Pragmatism is playing it safe...and giving the sheeple just enough to keep them interested. Vote for Obama because the alternative is a lot worse.
