If there's one thing that has separated me from others, it is the tyrannical lessons I learned in schools. They are what drove me to read the bible as a ~15-year old. The only part that resonated was the Old Testament, the New Testament was a bunch of lies and crap, that's what I perceived. I do not have any interest in rereading it over and over.

I went to a political meeting in my town recently to watch a movie. We all certainly seemed to have similar beliefs. However, I ALWAYS wear my HighSchool Dropout schtick on my sleeve, so to say. It ends up all the others had these high level educations, one was actually a teacher, and evidently the idea that I was a dropout rubbed those folks the wrong way. So, I found some fellow liberals living nearby, and afterward we might as well live halfway around the globe.

Nobody ever suggests a woman should stay with an abusive husband, but everyone not only thinks its okay, but is mandatory, to stay with an abusive schooling system, and that somehow, having MA, MS, or PhD behind their names is a badge of honor instead of a badge of toleration of authoritarian culture.
