(36,387 posts)It wasn't out of them disagreeing with me or them being rude. It was creepiness that rated 11 on a scale of 10.
Ignore just doesn't work for me. I have a burning desire to get the last word in at all costs, and how can I do that if I have people on ignore? If for whatever reason, in the future I did decide to put someone on ignore, I'd just do it silently and not do the big song and dance I see some do that seem proud of having ignore lists longer than a roll of toilet paper, and then go on and on and on about how they have so and so on ignore and how they spotted them when they accidently logged out, blah blah blah. That sort of stuff is using the ignore button as a weapon, not as a tool to make DU a better experience for themselves, and the ones I see do that tend to be the sort of folk who can't tolerate anyone disagreeing with them.
Be very, very careful how you respond to this post. My finger's hovering over the ignore button and I will not hesitate to begin an ignore list that's longer than anything anyone's ever bragged about at DU before!!
