There are times on DU, the Presidential primaries are one such time and the NSA issue we are now experiencing another, where quickly everything that can be said on the varying sides has been said, and all that remains is nastiness and name calling along with "Why can't you see it the way I see it. You must be wrong/dumb/a right winger/etc."

When those kinds of issues die down, I quickly empty my ignore list. I think it reached its height in the 2008 primary season with over 150 people on it. After Obama was officially the nominee I removed everyone. For a long time from that point until around 2012, I had less than 5 people on it.

Now with the Greenwald/Snowden nonsense, it has risen to around 100 again. I expect within a few months I will remove everyone from it again.
