(62,325 posts)81. Well, they've now had several decades to show us how beneficial their policies would be for the
country, and we've witnessed them in action. So what was 'new' back then, is not just 'old' right now, it is disastrous, not just for this country, but for the world.
So, it's past time to return to some mainstream, down to earth, policies are good for America and good for the rest of the world.
Sometimes these radical ideas have to play out before they become completely rejected. I think we are at that point now, and hopefully it will be a long time before anyone wants to go back to these horrible policies again.
They were bad ideas then, and they are worse now.
Time for something new and something that is actually successful.
