6. "But I'm an American by birth"

so says Senator Cruz. Let me get this straight. He was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban father, so that makes him an American. President Obama was born in Hawaii to an American mother and a Kenyan father. But for the sake for argument, let's say that President Obama was born in Kenya to an American mother and Kenyan father. How is that different? Obama is not an American according to the birthers but Cruz is? Talk about a double standard. I hope the repugs have painted themselves in a corner with their birther nonsense.
