...did it when I was MUCH younger in preparation for a retail store inspection/inventory...everything after the twelfth hour was golden time...boy did I love that particular paycheck!!

In architectural/engineering offices, it is not uncommon to stay at work for 18-72 hours straight

Probably 8 hours....I'm salaried so it would be unethical for me to work more.

As far as actual work goes, 16 hours. As far as school work goes, somewhere closer to 30 hours.

I've NEVER been able to work 24 hours in a row. I've done all-nighters, but I burn out around 4 am.
