My copy of the constitution says
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of
the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall
any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five
Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Therefor if Cru(st)z can get declared a natural born citizen, he has an in. As he has a single natural born citizen as a parent, if they submitted a report to the consulate of his birth and He passed the criteria of that time, he would have been issued a form CA240 (I think that's the pretext CA). Wording indicates that not having a CA-240 will make proving status as a natural born citizen would be difficult.
Implying that it might be possible.

I don't know all the legalities involved with being a US citizen born abroad.

K&R! There is zero legitimacy for those disputing the facts of Obama's birth & citizenship.
