(4,462 posts)I'm advocating the liberal values of freedom of speech and choice. If liberal values have an exception for Fox news, they are not liberal values. The fact that you objected to Fox is completely irrelevant.
May I ask, did you even request that your employer simply change the channel or seek some form of compromise?
Do you really believe that you had the right to institute a password and hide or steal the remote so that your employer could never choose what they want to watch on their own television?
Would you object if guests in your home did to you, what you did to your employer, just with a channel you prefer?
Does blind hatred of Fox permit conduct that would clearly warrant punishment if committed by an errant child?
Would it still be considered funny if a conservative employee with a liberal employer did the same thing, except the channel was MSNBC or PBS?
I just simply do not see Fox as sufficiently significant to act like a hypocrite or as justification for acting like those I claim detest.
