An undisclosed settlement has been reached in the discrimination suit against celebrity chef Paula Deen and her brother, Earl "Bubba" Hiers and the case was dismissed in a Georgia federal court Friday, according to Georgia TV station WTOC.

This type of dismissal is common in all settlements. This dismissal does not mean that Deen won her case.
