(12,977 posts)I was struck by the extent to which the Times cited just certain cables -- particularly those which involved charges against Iran -- as if they were new and exciting revelations that supported existing administration policies. You had to turn to The Guardian or Der Spiegel to learn that the great bulk of the cables were actually embarrassing to the US.
