3. A closed set means necessary personnel only...

Sets that are "closed" are sets that are shut down. Confusing, I know. I used to do film work. In college, there were a few films I worked on with sex scenes/nudity. Most of the actors/actresses were students or volunteers. Most requested closed sets for those filmings. From what I understand, a lot of Hollywood is this way as well.
