(1,957 posts)What you did was beautiful. Yet I get so angry when I think of the millionaires out there who not only refuse to help a person in need but help create roadblocks to make it even tougher on those who have so little to live on as it is.
Here she is wondering if she can the dosage of one pill or another,can she skip another pill this month--it's all so heart breaking when they are trying to prevent Obamacare,trying to eliminate Medicare.
They are so lost at the grocery store. They have so little money yet often have so little to eat at home. Some are too proud to even ask for help at a food pantry. We need to open are eyes around our neighborhood to see if we can "silently" help one in need. It's tricky. Many will refuse help directly but if you have spare veggies from your garden or if a store has a buy one get one free you can always say I really can't use a second jar.
We cannot remain silent on this. Every time the 'pubs try to sweep it under the mat we should lift that damn mat and stir up the dust once again!
