68. I Agree On The Wasted Moment...

...I cited a PR "chestnut" that I do feel can be applied here as her antics were purely to generate "buzz"...something she's lacked as she's grown out of the cute "Disney girl" mold. Time will tell if this stunt pays off...or how if she'll join the long list of young stars who are exploited for all they can get at the expense of a person's dignity. Hollywood has a long and sad list of child stars who are used by parents, agents and others and then when their value is gone they are dumped...wrecked on drugs or alcohol and becoming a public freak show. I'm hoping this isn't Ms. Cyrus' fate...that she's strong enough in her own self to avoid being exploited any further.

The VMAs have become a magnet for the outlandish...so much so that good performances are all but ignored....
