(4,276 posts)43. This makes me sad but at some point we all have to make choices.
One of my nearest and dearest friends and I parted ways over the 2008 election but somehow came back together a little bit over the last 3 years. I won't discuss politics with him on any level now and he won't either, so maybe we can at least be civil to one another.
I have other repub friends, some of whom refuse to talk politics others who still do. This is going to be a difficult year for people like us.
