You have ‘Shia oil’ from Iran, ‘Sunni Wahhabi’ oil from Saudi Arabia,

Bashar al-Assad is an Alawite which is a Shia sect.

The Syrian Sunnis are also linked with Lebanese, Iranian and Jordanian Sunnis.
