That's a wise thing to do. As he said, it won't matter when any sort of action takes place. The people who were gassed are already dead, and action will not resurrect them. Assad is unlikely to repeat this gassing business at this point, if it was his decision earlier. A bit of time will pass, more opinions will be heard, and more facts will be available.

President Obama often acts wisely. He has done so again.
