3. Because nobody will put on the pretence of RESPECT for America if it isn't a belligerent war nation!

America deserves the pretence of respect and therefore must coerce it from the world at large full-on at all times because nobody really appreciates America's need to feel better about itself than it's actions would in fact legitimise! Respect freely given doesn't count for anything, that's just a silly feeling! It's much more important to ensure that the pretence of respect can reliably be wrangled out of non-Americans because if it doesn't America won't be able to convince itself that the weird, sickly, dishonourable, unwholesome baby-thinking behind getting people to put on emotions that they don't really feel is a legitimate way of ridding itself of the scary idea that it isn't really doing anything of any consequence or worthy of any respect!!!! AND THAT CAN'T HAPPEN! Because then America will have to start doing things that ARE worthy of respect and that's SCAAAAAARY and might take lots more effort than should be expected of free, brave people who are better than everyone else!
