They'd all personally benefit in some way from a nice, controlled regional war in the Mideast.

But, more specifically, the source for this article was As-Safir, a Lebanese paper with ties to Hezbollah. Could be a psyop being fed to the Iranians and Syrians to make them feel (even more) nervous.

Lots of cross-cutting axes being ground.
