17. Limited war? Who wants to take that risk?

Once we drop bombs we are at war. You can play word games. You may calling it anything you want, but historically it is called war. You might want to do a quick check of your dictionary. Calling it anything other than war is a lie, and a misnomer.

I don't know how creating more death and destruction will aid the Syrians. Attempts to overthrow Assad will lead to more blood shed as many Syrians support Assad. If Syrians do not have the power or the will to overturn Assad, what then American boots on the ground?

Seems better to stay out and let the United Nations handle it.
