The American people are war weary. Finally I think we have reached the point of resignation. We will pay steep prices to secure our oil supply so that we can continue to pay steep prices at the pump. It is our destiny. At least it is the way the mechanisms of our world have been designed.

If you believe this is about the children, let's talk about the children in Chad. I fail to understand how a Syrian child's life is priced for protection by bombs while another is priced at -- what child? Expendable and unimportant.
