9. Laws like this is what happens when you don't have separation of church and state...

The LDS church runs Utah... I lived there for 12 years. We loved the people but the government was a sham. The LDS church has complete control of most of the state. SLC being the one area where non-LDS reach a percentage of about 50%.

My wife taught elementary school where she was the token non Mormon teacher in the entire school of 500 students k thru 6. On the H.S. level.. the "church" buys property adjacent to the H.S. and puts a seminary on it. Usually constructed of the same materials as the school to I guess blend in.... Students then are allowed to attend seminary everyday. It's supposedly "non-denominational" lol and in the past students were even given H.S. credit hours for attending however that isn't the case anymore.
