I could see how you could confuse it with Syria, in such a case, sure.

We weren't blowing up Kosovars because the Kosovar government blew up Kosovars. No we blew up Serbs becuase the Serbian government was blowing up Kosovars. And while the UN didn't back this up, we did at least have NATO on board, and it could have bene argued to be a logical extension of the UN-sanctioned action in Bosnia-Herzegovina .
