Syria is being used in the USA to further imperialistic and violent policies that you spoke against, sincerely and often.

Have you shackled your sensibilities, morals, and dignity to reach this level of belief in America's position as the worlds police?

Or have you buried them altogether, and changed the fundamental person we know/knew?

You can make the statement of your lifetime to reinforce the image of America that you put forth. As a soldier in Vietnam, and as a Senator for our great state of Massachusetts.

You know the right thing to do. Do it.
