13. I look Irish

with extremely pale skin and blue eyes, but I can trace my ancestry within the past 200 years, not long, to 3 continents.

One of the major "looks" in that part of the Middle East is red hair and green eyes, the Persian influence. The skin isn't quite as pale as my Irish hide, but it's almost there.

I have a weird outlook on "white," in any case. I went to an "all white" public school at the age of 11. It was a joke, there were Cherokee kids and Chinese kids and Arab kids and Mexican kids and Japanese kids, all classified "white." The only kids outside that classification had the "one drop" rule from Jim Crow laws applied to them, ancestry from sub Saharan Africa. I decided the whole thing was beyond stupid and age has not mellowed that opinion one bit.
