I happen to run into my particular (runs as independent - caucuses with the Democrats) liberal Congressman - Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan - who represents the Northern Mariana Islands in the U.S. House of Representatives. I asked him about how he felt and how he would vote - and he said he had not decided. I recognize that he views his job as to represent the interest of the Northern Mariana Islands as best as he can. He is undoubtedly a bona fide liberal - and also an Obama loyalist. I suspect he might very well vote in the way that he feels will best strengthen the position of the Northern Marians Islands who he was reelected by an 80% margin to represent. I told him my opinion. But I think his bottom line is to look out for the interest of the Islands and if he feels that voting in favor of military intervention strengthens his ability to win more for the Islands - I suspect that is what he will do. I can forgive him for that because he is being motivated by what he considers to be his first duty which is to look out for the interest of the people who elected him to represent their interest.
