In addition....


1) This is Romney's home state. A month ago this race wasn't even suppose to be competitive.


2) Romney is facing the weakest field perhaps in GOP primary history. He is having a dogfight with Rick Santorum? Seriously?


3) Romney has absurd money and organization benefits over his rivals. Remember, the Santorum campaign is so bad, they aren't even on the ballot in Virginia! Yet still his home state is this much of a struggle?


4) It looks like turnout for the Michigan primary will be down. This continues the lack of enthusiasm trend for the GOP. That's a bad sign for the GOP in November


5) Michigan will not be in play in November. Obama is up big.
