I'm not arguing their purpose of promoting moderates.
So what?
So do the Republican and Democratic parties when they're running moderates. Obama is a moderate and is being promoted by the Democratic Party.
Hell, IIRC from my viewing of the clip, Nader said that the group was aimed at moderates. It seems to me, if he was promoting anything, he was promoting political diversity rather than the entrenched 2 party system that now controls the country.

...it took a few tries, but I knew eventually the "so what?" excuse would pop up. I mean, everyone can see the similarities between "moderate" Obama and "moderate" Buddy Roemer, right?
