realizing of course, that it's early yet and this may be found to be in error:

One of those officials says Alexis was a 34-year-old from Texas. He is believed to have a criminal record there and to be a holder of a concealed carry weapon permit.

Considering how eager the NRA fucks are to make CCW and open carry as easy as possible for as many as possible. I for one am tired of hearing "criminals will always be able to get guns" as an excuse for not improving our laws at all. (And yeah, what about non-criminals? Only "good guys" get carry permits? Apparently not.)
