20. Who knows what the original Bible said?

Various sections were written in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. It then went though translations of many different forms and languages. Each time I suspect things were added and subtracted. The first all English Bible wasn't until 1535. I can never understand how people can quote verses from the Bible with such certainty. With reference to the verse in the OP I always tell people if that is followed then the rest of the things banned in Leviticus must be followed. So put to death people that violate the bans on tattoos, pork, shellfish, round haircuts, polyester, football and working on Sunday. People are generally silent after that.
