He is a libertarian, a civil libertarian.
To me, the more i think about it, when it comes to Ron Paul, it is paulism, a form of Christian theocracy, mixed with fascism, and a few moments of truly struck clock is right moments, which appeal to the young. And yes, right wing populism.
What he also has, having covered a rally of his, is charisma. He exudes it in person. I hope his son does not. Yup, that was the thing that struck a pretty cynical media gaggle, the charisma. I thank the gods he is in his 80s and not in his 40s.
