42. What a poor methodology for their "study".

They only look at the South and then conclude the majority of the country's racists are in the South. As if there are no racists in the North. I worked at a very integrated steel mill in Chicago for 14 years. I heard the 'n' word frequently at work. After work I went to bars that were white working class (bars in working class areas of Chicago almost were all white, all black, or all Hispanic). I heard the 'n' word every single day.

I moved to Birmingham, AL and was there a year. Again I went to bars after work. I never heard the 'n' used once in my time in AL. Now, am I going to draw grand conclusions from these anecdotal observations? No. But that methodology is just as good or better that what is presented in this 'study'.
