18. Folks I knew used to call his radio show up and tape the results - pretty funny

They eventually pushed him off the deep end, I think by "committing suicide" on-air, and he had to cut WAY back on letting callers onto his show. They were religious studies people, so pretty good at it, and they'd string him along pretty far before going surrealist on him.
