57. I am not a screaming liberal and this is no secret.

I am a "social programs liberal" who champions stuff like choice, equality, social security, safety net programs for the abused and disadvantaged, health care for all... and I am also a fiscal moderate. I think we should pay our damn bills and not run massive deficits.

I LIKE the Armed Forces and I don't think serving in the military is a bad thing.

I don't think that USA is a horrible place full of horrible people, I don't think America is evil, or bad, or wrong, or that our best days are behind us, and that puts me out of step with a number of people here.

And I am sick to death of people who try to force me into a "politically correct" box or try to shame me--or any other DUer--for having an opinion that the likes of YOU might not happen to agree with. Who are you to lecture others? All you seem to be doing is posting incessantly on this particular topic, in an effort to whip up a crew and foment dissent to no good end.

Pretty sad, IMO.
