Putting down my dog: The late great Little-Dog

It's a really great remembrance of your pup. My old girl, a malamute/chesapeake bay mix, passed away December 29 of last year, as my friend and I carried her in her dog bed to the car to be taken to the vet's to be put down. I love dogs, and there's no way around this kind of pain. Hearing about Little-Dog is comforting to me somehow. We're lucky to share their lives as long as we get to.

My daughter badgered me for months to get another dog. I kept saying I already had my dog. Finally I gave in, just to go to the humane society to look at dogs. One day, one trip. The next day, June 4, we came back to pick up our new puppy, some kind of terrier/corgi maybe? I miss my old girl terribly, but this puppy has been so good for me.
