14. Big Business that actually makes stuff is usually moderate Rs. Big Investment Business, now -

Many of them are Dominionists and/or Randroids, who actually believe they're doing real work - or at least "God's Work" because in their worldview, making shitloads of money is the sign of hard work or Grace.

Since Big Business that makes tangible items to sell don't make as much profit as Investment Businesses do, they've been pretty much ignored in politics and "think tanks".

It's all about the short-term show and the promises of "Heaven". So the Teahadists don't care, because for the most part, they're sure they're doing the right thing to get to heaven on the back of their disdain and punishing policies, and their Investment Business backers are sure they'll be able to weather any financial downturn to come up on top and in charge.
