Your facts are out of order, and they sound like a cheerleading pamphlet from the RNC.

Fox is pulling in the lowest numbers they've ever endured, Rush Limbaugh loses markets every week (he just lost Fargo), and his sponsors are running from him like he has the plague. He can only stay on if he's willing to do his ranting and spewing for much less money. He's no longer a hot property, he's more like a warm turd.

The only "talk" that is on the upswing on AM is "sports talk" or "drive time shows." Even Top Forty is starting to crawl back to AM....it's cheaper and it pulls in the same number--if not more-- of listeners. Who listens to AM HATE? Right wing fearful, angry old white guys, and sometimes their wives, that's who, and people who like to yell at the radio. They don't grow their audience with that tactic--they simply try to hang on to the crabby old haters who are invested in their own meanness.
