24. This might sound cold, but I think too much of the government is still open

The GOP thinks that they can get away with shutting down government in a game of brinkmanship because enough of the government would still run to make the shutdown a pain in the ass but not complete destruction. I feel that if they are going to shut it down, they should be forced to shut the whole thing down: no FAA (no air travel), no NOAA/NWS (the NWS provides forecast data to commercial weather services), no Social Security checks going out, no postal service, close the border crossings (no Customs, imports, exports), etc.
