I just paid over $300 in overage fees to Verison wireless and I was never told that I could go [View all]

"over" on the damn internet when I signed up with them in the first place! I still find it hard to believe you can go "over" on the internet! Is this some new damn scam?

I swear to you I wasn't told anything about usage when I bought the router and signed my life away with Verison. And yes I got a couple emails talking about overages but my Mom is nice enough to have me on her Verison cell phone plan so I thought that was a mistake and forwarded the emails to her because once we both went over on the cell phones. I even checked my cell phone usage and made sure I was OK with that. I never thought it was about the internet!

But now I am totally screwed! This is a lot of money and I don't think I should pay it but I don't know how to not pay it. They are supposed to give me $60 back, at least she said she would, but I haven't seen it on my Verison page site yet.

And get this. While I was talking to her earlier I was at 1.5 GB used and I turned the computer off because I was so upset and now that I have turned it back on I am at 1.7 GB. WTF! Is it that easy to go from 1.5 to 1.7 GB?
It could be that the day had changed since it went past 12am and now we are into March 3rd instead of the 2nd when I technically talked to her.

But even when I just have my computer on the internet light comes on and my router starts blinking. The damn waves are running through my freaking head even when I am not "on" the internet.

If I need to put this in the computer section please tell me or tell me where I should put it. I thought it might be something that others are experiencing and a new scam that is just coming out and might be good right here though.
