I wonder how many will arrive at "let's privatize" as the takehome message from all this? [View all]

I worry that many might stupidly figure that "well, if the National Parks were run by private organizations, then a government shutdown wouldn't affect them!"

Or, "gee, if only private entities were in charge of blood donations, this wouldn't be an issue" etc ad nauseum.

Any liklihood that this will be the (intended?) outcome?
