(2,667 posts)86. They seem to still be in Recess though, because Cspan hasn't resumed floor coverage.
If you had been watching Cspan at the time it would have seemed very confusing. Democrats were standing up to the Republicans by demanding that the clean CR be considered and then out of nowhere the Chair banged the gavel and put the House into recess - no explanation given. Cspan went to some Republican dog-and-pony and then came back with an announcement that there had been shooting. They followed that with a posted alert about the shooting on the bottom of the screen.
