132. We got lucky -

Someone dumped her at the vet, and my spouse wandered in at just the right time to be talked into a kitten. And then she wandered in at just the right time again a few weeks later when there was a black (probably part Siamese) rescue she begged us to take.

After a few days of spitting at each other, they are now (mostly) best buds. Anytime they are not tearing madly about the house gleefully chasing each other, doing mid-air chest bumps, or growling over the catnip fish (which the tricolor does jealously guard), they are happily sprawled on top of each other or grooming each other (without the grooming being a preliminary to a fight - which it often was with other cats).
