66. This type of BS doesn't have to affect me personally to be angry.

Though my daughter has full contraceptive coverage through her job, it isn't just about that. It's about all women and the prevailing attitude of utter comtempt coming from the GOP directed at them. That really is the root of all of this.

And even if the more moderate, mainstream among them are not necessarily participants, they are complicit in their lack of condemnation.

We've all known for some time that Rush and his ilk are sexist, racist bigots. However, something about the current political climate on the right seems to have emboldened them to spew their hate all the more vehemently then ever. It's as if these people are hate addicts, needing a bigger and better fix, while the GOP in general enables them for their own (probably nefarious) reasons.

It's disgusting, and I for one cannot sit back and just watch as Rush, Beck, the new crop of TBag politicians ect. viciously attack women, minorities, the poor and the vulnerable, in their twisted, ever escalating, need for a more satisfying 'hate-fix'.

Judging by the many threads in GD right now with excellent ideas on how to fight this battle, it's good to see that I'm not the only one who refuses to take this BS any longer.
