but nobody seemed to notice, except maybe you.
Not all families have enough money for every member has their own pc.

No, the IP address you would come into DU would be that assigned to the router by you're ISP........

That single public-facing IP can include an entire college campus, for instance

It's your home router that gets the public IP address, not each computer in the house
