36. It happened to my ex, too......

which is why he's my ex. I could have lived with just a difference of opinion, but once he got heavy into listening to Rush and then Faux came along, well, I could just see the change in him and so could his grown kids. He never smiled any longer, he spent more and more time isolated from people and us, his anger grew and turned into cruelty and hatred. I honestly couldn't believe what had happened to him and of course, the anger and cruelty was taken out on me.

Even before it got this bad in our country, I saw this happening in my own house and I told people that Rush was a dangerous person. These people don't realize that bringing all that negativity and hatred into their souls on a daily basis just eats at them little by little and they suffer from it mentally and physically, but they are too ignorant to see what was really causing it.

I do think it makes for a good sociological study - how and who is more likely to get sucked into listening to this stuff day after day and why and the effects on their personalities. I don't know, maybe the crap that they spew just emboldens those who never really formed opinions of their own.
