To believe most of the hate spewed by the right. Perhaps it is a form of mental illness...it is most definitely brainwashing. It would interesting to compare the rw indoctrination techniques to those of gangs and other organized criminals. Fanatics, like gang members, probably have a desperate need to belong, and to feel like rebels. I feel sorry for your friend. It seems to me that when you resent everyone who doesn't and think and live like you...that sounds like someone who has a big gaping hole inside. You cannot hate anyone else unless you hate yourself. Sad.
