3. I Don't Think Boehner Is In That Big A Predicament....

Boehner may be doomed from his party if he succumbs to the pressure and calls for a clean vote and he might lose his job as Speaker - but - does he really want to put up with this stress going forward? If he continues this and brings down the economy of the U.S. and - who knows - maybe the world - what will his legacy as Speaker be then?

If he resigns as Speaker or if he is voted out as Speaker - he will still be a Congressman. I understand he's pretty secure in his district. So I don't think he will lose his House seat.

And if he does - he'll wind up with a high paying job on K Street as a lobbyist.
