147. It happened to both my brothers.

My older brother I kind of understand how it happened, but my younger brother. wow. I will forever be shocked that he became a right wing evangelical teabagger. We didn't grow up that way, he was a great guy. I blame a lot of it as just living his whole life in the South( where Jesus and the rightwing are Kings) and our family being non religious/non political - that old adage about not standing for something you'll fall for anything but honestly. If you'da told me when we were teenagers that he would end up a fanatical religious rightwinger it would have been so foreign to both of us we both would have laughed at you.

I feel shame over it and I miss him a lot. We were as close as twins growing up. It's just sad. It's good to see others sharing their stories about this, makes me feel less alone.
