Concessions [View all]

The republican rhetoric about concessions is rather absurd. Both sides seem to agree that they dont want to shut down the government but one side says it deserves a concession for that act and they link the ACA only because they say its unpopular.

If one side should demand concessions maybe it should be the democratic side. Perhaps, the democrats should only vote for a CR if its tied to getting rid of something that some or most polls say is unpopular and echo the Republican mantra.

Republican congress critters are very unpopular in most polls. It might follow that the only way we should continue the government is if every Republican Congressman resigns immediately.

Obviously facetious but it probably could be used as a good talking point when a republican congressman or woman is a talking head. When he or she says "Obamacard is unpopular, the American People want us to get rid of it". Say "you are unpopular by those polls too, when are you going to resign".
