(34,648 posts)She got her underwear from Fredericks of Hollywood and paid for my navel piercing. She had a great eye for what looked good.
My uncles got tattoos in the military in Vietnam, terrible non professional tattoos, she managed to scrub most of the ink off my uncles arms. Made them go and get new professional ones to cover up the crappy ones.
My gramma would laugh to hear younger people trash talk tattoos that reside on other peoples bodies. As long as they look good and express what needs to be expressed it shouldn't matter.
Art is art.
Now gang tattoos. No. I still laugh at my friends who got gang tattoos. I have one who got a cartoon drawing of a gangster with a gun on one side of his face and the gang name on the other side. With thug life across his chest like Tupac. I still judge him.
